Head of Metroccolis, Silent Rocco, is a passionate mime artist with a huge amount of stage experience. Starting at the age of 14, he’s been performing all over the world, from small festival squares to big theatre stages and countless events of all sizes and occasions. He performs short mime sketches, creates individual choreographies (for example by physically retelling a biography) or plays his new feature-length stage show “Ordinary Things”, enthralling audiences with physical precision and emotional stories.

The costume is reduced, there is no white face and no white gloves. On the back of atmospheric soundtracks, Silent Rocco takes the audience on a journey to fantastic worlds by only using gestures, facial and physical expression, and through his strong presence and ever-changing rhythms.

“The Mask Maker” – mime performance inspired by Marcel Marceau:

A performance lasts between 5 and 45 minutes and can be played indoors as well as outdoors, with minimal technical requirements. As a professional, contemporary mime artist, Silent Rocco virtually is the whole theatre with all needed characters and props.

Excerpts of ‘glitch dance’ movement studies at Theaterhaus Berlin Mitte:

“The execution and body language in connection with the music are simply brilliant.” – SZ
